Kevin shares his top three tips for getting better at sales and stresses the importance of making a connection with people and focusing on the relationship to build sales. Building a successful personal brand will allow you to have more impact.

01:26 If you add more value than anybody else, sales are easy. It’s not getting on the phone with somebody and trying to sell them on something, it’s adding value and then finding the best fit.
02:52 When you have more episodes than anybody else, you often have more credibility which has helped me a lot.
04:06 You can have the biggest following in the world, but if you’re not able to convert them, it doesn’t matter.
04:37 You have to believe in yourself, your product, your service, and your result. If you don’t, it’s just not going to work.
05:14 Understand that some people will be ready now, some people will be ready eventually, and the vast majority of people will never be ready and that’s OK.
06:49 When you grow in scale, you lose relationships. So, if you can build real relationships with real people, you can go toe to toe with any of the businesses.
08:10 You’ve gotta do different things. If it’s different, it’s valuable. And if it’s valuable, it’s worth doubling down on.
10:30 If you produce content based on your area of expertise, people will understand that that’s what that person is really good at and they’ll reach out to you when the time is right.
