Ep 231: Understand The Game You’re Playing In with Dr. Joe Johnson

In this micro episode, Dr. Joe shares his thoughts about the importance of understanding the game you're playing in. He talks about how you don't want to look back on your life and regret not doing what you really wanted to do. He encourages people to make decisions that will lead them to a life that they're happy with. Ultimately, Dr. Joe emphasizes the importance of making choices that will lead to a life that is fulfilling and satisfying.

Episode Highlight

03:56 - He said his father, when he was younger, could have been a pretty good comedian. But, he couldn't see that for himself. So what did he do? He took the safe route. He got a job 9 to 5. Next thing you know they fired him and Jim Carrey said, imagine if he would have put all of that hard work that he put in for that job that he really didn't want to do into what he wanted to do. And some people are scared to do that and they get mad at everybody else, where they really should be mad at themselves. And I'm not saying it's their fault because society creates this understanding that you should be a worker.
