Ep 206: The Importance of Building Strong Connections with SF Banks

In this episode, SF shared that his parents are his role model for why he became a successful entrepreneur. He said that you must have the "I can do" attitude to be successful in this field. He learned that work ethic and service is about being humble and doing the best job. Going above and beyond will pay back huge dividends in the future.

His parents have instilled these qualities in him from a young age and have been a continual support system for him as he has grown his business. It is clear that Shawn attributes a large portion of his success to them. They are evidently proud of him and everything he has accomplished. From this episode, it is inspiring to see how one's upbringing can play such a pivotal role in future success.

Episode Highlight:

02:18 - Watching their work ethic, watching how they make things happen because I was fortunate to watch, both of my parents really built from the ground up.

04:51 - Couple of things one, you got to know what it is you`re looking for, you have to have a clear job description of the person that you`re looking for.

09:45 - Service is about being humble and doing the best job, going above and beyond and it will pay back huge dividends in the future.

15:40 - The “I can do” attitude is one of the most important things you have to have as a business owner because a business is all about solving problems and so once you understand that, your job is ultimately to solve a problem that people have.
